discoDSP has today released OB-Xd 2.0 free Synthesizer plugin, a major upgrade to its beloved Oberheim OB-X emulation. The plugin attempts to recreate its sounds and behavior. Compared to the original synth, it offers all the best-known features and several new features. For example, it includes a continuous blendable multimode filter (HP-Notch(BP) – HP in 12dB mode and 4-1 pole in 24dB mode).
The new OB-Xd 2.0 brings a faster GUI, a standalone app, MIDI CC support as well as a Linux build. In addition to this, there are numerous small improvements that make the plugin more stable and future-proof.
