SampleTank 4 MAX is a high-quality sampler plugin for macOS and Windows. Like the other sampler plugins, SampleTank 4 MAX v2 has no sampling function but is fed with sound banks.
It includes all 36 SampleTank products, along with the factory library and all legacy ST 2 and 3 factory content. This provides you with over 250 GB of sounds and more than 8,000 ready-to-use instruments.
If you want to delve deeper, you can customize each instrument and create custom patches. SampleTank 4 features a synthesizer-like engine that allows you to edit each sound in detail.
The ST engine offers up to 16-part multitimbrality, 16 individual stereo outputs, and plenty of parameters to tweak. You can easily modify the sample oscillators, choose from 16 modeled filters, edit envelopes, and more.
Each track also includes instant in-window access to five effects slots, so you can adjust effects on the fly. You can work with a total of 70 different effects, including filters, distortions, delays, reverbs, and more.
Further, you can work with a dedicated player engine, allowing you to perform the sounds in different ways: an arpeggiator, a strummer, a pattern, and a loop player.
